I get values out of range in the log

Log in to google drive with your browser.
On the top right of the window you'll find a gearwheel icon. Select settings and choose English as default language.
Now re-import your CSV file.

After some minutes, scripts ends with the following error: Execution time exceeded

Google Docs limits maximum execution time. If your log is big, it may require too much time to be processed.
After dismissing the error, just select "Resume after error".
Processing will continue where it stopped.
Repeat as necessary if the error comes back again.

Which PIDs should I log?

For a complete report you should include the common PIDs (provided by Torque itself and available on all cars) and then add the ones belonging to your specific car:

Common PIDs:
"Speed (OBD)(km/h)"
"Engine RPM(rpm)"
"Actual Engine Torque(Nm)"
"Trip Distance(km)"
"Fuel used (trip)(l)"
"Fuel flow rate/minute(CC/min)"
"Engine Coolant temperature"
"Ambient Temperature"
"Engine Load"
"State of Charge(%)"

HSD3 PIDs (Auris, Yaris, Prius 3):
"Batt Pack Current Val(Amperes)"
"Wheel Cylinder Pressure Sensor(V)"
"Regen Cooperation(Off/On)"
"Accel Pedal Pos #1(%)"
"HV System Indicator"
"MG1 revolution"

Ford Hybrid PIDs (C-MAX, Fusion):
"Accelerator PedalPosition D"
"HV Battery Current"
"Generator Speed"
"Motor Speed"

OBD Fusion PIDs:
Some PIDs are named differenly in OBD Fusion
"Speed (OBD)(km/h)" >>> "Vehicle speed"
"State of Charge(%)" >>> "Hybrid battery pack remaining life"
"Trip Distance" >>> "Distance traveled since DTCs cleared"

Remember to check "include GPS data" also.

Logging all of them will result in a complete report, but you can log only a subset for some specific analysis
Here's a table with some common charts and their required PIDs.

Any notable differences between logging from Torque and OBD Fusion?

OBD Fusion lacks the "Trip Distance" log entry, so distances must be calculated by adding "Distance traveled since DTCs cleared" to the log. Since this is derived from the odometer and not from the GPS, minum resolution is 1km.
Analyzer reports are affected in the following areas:

  • EV distance calculation is less precise.
  • Charts are force to have time on the X axis.

Why are some PIDs in English and some in my own local language?

In Torque general settings, check default to English.
This way all logs will be in English.

Why fuel and mileage PIDs are always zero?

There are 3 switches to enable fuel logging:
settings / data logging / log trip fuel consumed
settings / obd2 adapter / don't calculate fuel (don't check it)
settings / obd2 adapter / enhanced mpg calc

How do I customize charts?

I get a "service error" while running the script

I can't find PID "HV System Indicator" in Torque

Why Google Map doesn't show all my trip?

Google Map can handle only some hundred point. An average trip is built of thousand point, so on the map we can highlight only Start, Finish and an handful of intermediate steps.

Anything else?

Do NOT select rounding to 2 decimals: many PIDs will loose significance without decimals.
